🤝 Project manager (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

We’re looking for

We're looking for a project manager to keep our projects on course from launch to landing, so you get happy clients, an aligned crew, and a smooth ride the whole way.

We're building digital products for our clients, so our project managers usually juggle 2–3 client projects at once. We don't treat clients as requesters; they're our partners, and you'll be their day-to-day contact.

As project manager, you'll shape how we run projects at Applifting, bringing your experience, your creativity, and your own ideas. We'll give you the room to grow, both at your job and as a person.

What you'll do

Take care of the project team and its motivation: facilitate ceremonies, meetings and workshops, run 1:1s, and give honest feedback.

• Work in agile (Scrum, Kanban), always tailored to the project and the client — no dogma.

• Stay in daily contact with clients and team up with sales to grow those relationships. Presales included, if you want in from day one.

• Handle internal reporting: how profitable a project is, how long it'll run, and how many people it needs 😊

• Share updates, shadow each other, and grow as a team. Not your strong suit yet? We've got your back. 

• We love community too, in-house and in Prague's agile scene (ScrumBeer 🍺, Agile Circle). 

What we expect

Proactivity with a real sense of responsibility. You raise the tough topics instead of hoping they "sort themselves out."

• A generalist mindset. The work here is diverse, so a strict "Scrum purist" wouldn't be happy with us.

• You keep the whole context of the project, work preventively, and know when the team needs you and when to let them figure it out.

• You create alignment between client, team and colleagues. You're not afraid of the "Captain Obvious" questions.

• You know what software development involves, you're open to new ideas and mistakes.

• You use AI to make your team (and yourself) more effective. 

• You've worked with at least some of Jira, Azure, Asana, GitLab, Linear. Agency experience is a big plus.

• Fluent Czech and English
