Hardware & Embedded Engineer

Engineer autonomy for European defence with us.

At Noontide Systems, we build onboard autonomy for unmanned systems. We work on problems without ready-made solutions, integrating computer vision and guidance directly onboard UAVs to turn promising research into systems that perform in the real world.

We operate as a small team, developing parallelly terminal guidance and navigation on embedded hardware toward one objective: making autonomy work in operational conditions. Engineers have the independence to make decisions and take ownership of results, while collaborating closely wherever these systems meet. We value both experienced engineers who can take projects from problem definition through implementation and testing, and a driven talent willing to learn quickly and grow with us.

We are currently looking mainly for 3 specific positions (Computer Vision Engineer, Hardware & Embedded Engineer, Control & State Estimation Engineer), however, if you feel like a great fit for our startup we also have an Open Call Application.

[2] Hardware & Embedded Engineer Requirements:
→ Strong foundations in C and C++ 
→ Hands-on experience with hardware and robotics 
→ Experience integrating cameras and optics, including drivers, device trees, configurating and calibrating sensors
→ Familiarity working with NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi platforms is a strong advantage
