Customer Care Specialist

We're Smartsupp, part of Abugo, and we build an AI customer service platform used by over 100,000 e-shops and businesses worldwide to deliver top-notch support.

We're looking for someone to take care of our customers (e-commerce businesses across the world) over chat and email, in Czech and English. Support here also runs on an AI agent maintained by this same team, so there's a second track open to you if that turns out to be your thing.

We run on Claude, with our own internal tools and an AI Academy to get you fluent. The goal: an autonomous organization where repetitive work gets handled and your time goes to what needs judgment.

🎯 Your Role

• You're the first person our customers reach, and you stay with their problem until it's actually solved.

• You help our customers understand the product, get set up, and get real value out of Smartsupp.

• You troubleshoot technical issues, reproduce bugs, and hand them to product and engineering with everything they need.

• You spot patterns in what customers keep struggling with and make sure the right people hear about it.

• You look after the quality of our support: the answers, the tone, and the recurring questions.

• If it's your thing, you can grow into maintaining our AI support agent. No experience needed, just curiosity and dedicated time to learn.

• Day to day you'll work in Intercom, Linear, Jira, Confluence and Claude.

• Customers come first. You're finished when the problem is actually solved, not when the ticket is closed.

• You don't rattle easily. When customers reach out frustrated, you stay calm and hold your ground.

• You're genuinely tech-savvy. You find your way around new tools fast, test scenarios yourself, and break problems down logically.

• You communicate clearly and confidently in written Czech and English.

• You're curious about AI tools. You'll use them here every day and we'll teach you how.

• Nice to have: browser devtools, basic HTML/CSS, curiosity about JavaScript.

We're primarily looking for someone mid-level, but if you're earlier in your career with some customer care or SaaS experience already, we'd love to hear from you.
